b. i) Acid rain will be formed
ii) The ecological balance of aquatic ecosystem will be disturbed because many types of phytoplankton, zooplankton, fish and other aquatic species will be destroyed.
c i) The agriculture productivity will be reduced. This is because haze prevents sunlight from reaching the earth and lowers the earth’s temperature. The rate of photosynthesis of the plants decreases and affects plants’ growth and crop production.
d. i) Use catalytic converters in cars to clean exhaust emission.
ii) Fix special filters on industry chimneys to filter the release of soot, lead particles and toxic gases into the atmosphere.
iii) Incinerate the garbage
iv) Avoid open burning
v) Control forest fire
vi) Use fuel which releases less smoke (any 3)
